upholstery workshop

Learn the art of upholstery from a master craftsman with 30 years in the trade and City & Guilds trained at The London College of Furniture. This introductory day is suitable for all levels and will equip you with the skills and knowledge to tackle most upholstery jobs with confidence. Using traditional materials such as horsehair, jute webbing, calico, tack roll and Queen Anne wooden legs. You will create your very own bespoke footstool. You will need to bring along 1 metre of fabric for the top cover, all other materials are supplied. Only 5 participants per class and refreshments are provided.

We will be in the Towcester shop from 23-25 June giving demonstrations on our upholstery workshops, please pop in and take a look.

Workshops run on selected dates from 10.30am to 4pm.
